I am not sure if it was the circumstances in which Pax and Mila meet or not, but I could feel the connection with them. When Pax turns on the steam, though, watch out. But, that was just about all that I liked about the story. Pax and Mila's connection and chemistry was strong. Especially now that I have fed her habit.

I think this is one instance where a single POV would have been much better for me. Zero games were played. When Mila Hill meets Pax, he doesn't make a good impression.
